Apprenticeship Levy Business Breakfast

By GIFHE (Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education) | Event Date: 8 Mar 2017

Businesses from across the region are invited to the Grimsby Institute’s Business Breakfast on Wednesday 8th March 7.30-9am at the Corner Lounge, University Centre Grimsby.

The Institute’s dedicated Business and Learner Engagement team will be on hand offering employers advice and guidance on the latest developments, which are due to happen for businesses already employing an Apprentice or thinking of expanding their workforce by employing an Apprentice.

By 2020, the Government aims to fund three million Apprenticeships for SMEs and Micro SMEs which will change the way in which Apprenticeships are designed, delivered, assessed, funded and paid for.

The introduction of the Levy for Apprenticeships on the 1st May offers a great opportunity for businesses to access a more bespoke experience from work based learning. The Government Trailblazer reforms means the changes will give employers better control on duration, training and assessment to get the perfect outcome for their business.

Apprenticeships are the ideal way of growing and developing your business, for more information and to register your interest visit or call 0800 012 6656.
