Emergency First Aid at Work Course
By The Business Hive | Event Date: 27 Nov 2017
The statutory Emergency First Aid at Work Course (EFAW) is a 1 day course for people working in a lower risk environment and it can help employers meet their requirements under the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. It covers lifesaving skills including CPR, choking and bleeding.
If the risk assessment indicates that employees may be faced with life-threatening incidents where they must manage the casualty for up to 10 minutes, or deal with very minor incidents that will not require medical assistance, then the EFAW is the course that meets this need.
This ITC Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is part of the Regulated Qualifications Framework. This Qualification is regulated in England and Wales by the external regulators of qualifications – Ofqual and Qualifications Wales.
The cost of the training package is £90.00 per delegate.
