IOSH Managing Safely

This is a 3 day course delivered over 3 consecutive weeks - 6th, 13th and 20th November. 

The Institution of Occupational Health and Safety ( IOSH) is a globally recognised chartered body that promotes the highest standards for workplace health and safety 

The IOSH Managing Safely course is designed for any individual, across numerous sectors, that has a responsibility for managing the health and safety risks, resources and workplace practices for their organisation. This course is 3 days in duration and covers the core responsibilities of anyone who manages workplace Health and Safety

The topics covered in this course include;

  • Introducing Managing Safely
  • Assessing and Controlling Risks
  • Understanding Hazards
  • Understanding Responsibilities
  • Investigating Incidents
  • Measuring Performance

To successfully complete the course the candidate must pass a 45 minute exam to access their learning as well as a practical assessment that will demonstrate the application of the knowledge which has been gained throughout the course. Once the candidate has passed the exam then they will be issued with an IOSH Certification.
