Surviving or Thriving? Mental Health Fitness in the Workplace

A major conference on mental health fitness in the workplace will be held in Grimsby on Thursday 16 November, providing employer advice and expertise.

The Oaklands Hotel in Laceby will host the latest Fortis Therapy & Training conference called 'Surviving or Thriving? Mental Health Fitness in the Workplace', with speeches, workshops and information stands from the region's leading professionals.

Wilkin Chapman solicitor Partners, Jane Eatock and Katie Davies, will give a talk entitled 'Are ill health absences causing you a headache?' They will provide practical support and advice on how to deal with mental health issues from an employment and HR perspective.

Other presentations on the day will be on 'Making the Stress Management Standards work' and 'Developing Psychologically Informed Organisational Cultures'.

The event is open to anyone who works in a workplace, featuring other strong topical conversations on understanding anxiety, work-load management and stress.

The day will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm, with early bird discounts and tickets available
