Project Development Engineer

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will work with the Project Co- Ordinator, and be accountable for planning and managing the engineering of a development opportunity under the guidance of the Project Developer/Stake Holder.
Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities :
Develop the basic outline for review, produce designs and configurations for the new development. Lead the new development whilst handling other opportunities under consideration whilst maintaining focus on the main goal.
Develop alternative solutions to the initial scope for discussion.
Manage work assigned to external companies and make recommendations on and manage the use of external consultants when required.
Operate and produce output from the software modelling suites when an opportunity is in the initial stage.
Carry out technical reviews, studies and required calculations to demonstrate technical viability.
Provide and present technical information to verify the assumptions made on technical grounds.
Include all relevant CGP/SHE policies within the design concept, with particular emphasis on operational safety.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Chartered Engineer with several years of experience of Power Engineering process
Engineering, Project Engineering and Design for Power Plants Process and/or related industrial plants.
Good experience with design and construction codes applying to power plant and construction
Ability to use all necessary software programs to be able to challenge the data produced
Liaison with other plant engineers
