3D videos show what a future Scunthorpe Market could look like

Videos released by North Lincolnshire Council as part of a consultation reveal what a future Scunthorpe Market could look like.

As part of a consultation into how the market could be run in years to come.

The council has launched the consultation as part of their £60million investment into Scunthorpe town centre.

The videos released by the council show proposed future plans.

Rob Waltham, Leader of North Lincolnshire Council, said: “We are really keen to hear residents’ views as we start to bring forward the plans for the transformation of Scunthorpe Market as part of our £60m regeneration plans for a modern town centre.

“Good progress is already being made to secure housing and office developments for the town centre which will introduce literally thousands of new visitors every day.

“Our successful policy of providing two hours free car parking across North Lincolnshire Monday to Friday and free car parking all day Saturday and Sunday is continuing to prove popular in attracting shoppers to the town centre.”

The consultation was opened on Monday (September 4) and will run until October 4, 2017.
