A celebrity chef branded restaurant will be opening at the new DoubleTree Hilton in Hull city centre, which is due for completion next month.

Hilton has confirmed there will be a branded restaurant at the venue, but say final details will be revealed in "a week or two".

Throughout the UK, Hilton hotels have partnered with a variety of celebrity chefs to open new restaurants, including Marco Pierre White and Jean Christophe Novelli.

Eight new jobs have been advertised for the hotel, including the role of a food and beverage assistant working in the restaurant.

The £25m hotel development will have 165 bedrooms, a rooftop bar and a 1,000 sqft ballroom for events and conferences.

It will not be the first celebrity chef branded restaurant to open in the city, with Gino DiCampo opening a new restaurant and prosecco bar at Next in Kingswood in December 2017.
