Biomass wood pellet company hires new general manager

Biomass wood pellet company Y Pellets has appointed Chris Wilson as its new general manager.

Mr Wilson brings more than 17 years of experience, and will play a vital role in the company’s growth.

Y Pellets recently announced plans to create a new £10m wood refinery in Goole.

Mr Wilson said: “Y Pellets is one of the fastest growing companies within the UK’s renewables energy and biomass fuel sector, so to be part of the company from the start and play a dedicated part in its growth and continued success is a great position to be in.”

Neil Holland, managing director, said: “Chris is an integral part of the management team, and brings a very professional and high level of expertise.”
