British Steel seeks views of employees over setting up blog
British Steel trade unions appeal for safety representatives

BRITISH Steel is seeking the views of its 3,000 employees in Scunthorpe over setting up an on-diary, known as a blog.
The company says their posts would be a way to express "passion, personality and humour".
Bloggers, who have to gain approval from their line managers, would have to submit between 200 and 800 words at a time.
But first British Steel wants to know how any employees would be committed to writing at least one post monthly.
In the past, Scunthorpe steelworkers, who have posted views about the company on the social network without permission, have faced disciplinary action for beaching their contracts.
British Steel already runs an on-site monthly newspaper called "Steel Matters".
