Charted accountancy practice clocks up 80 years in Scunthorpe

Forrester Boyd’s Scunthorpe office has clocked up 80 years.

The chartered accountancy practice originally opened its doors in the High Street back in 1937, relocating to modern offices at 74 Oswald Road in 1980 – then to brand new, purpose-built premises a few doors down in 2003.

Neil Williams is the resident partner supported by more than 20 members of staff. The portfolio ranges from sub-contractors and small self-employed businesses to medium and large sized limited companies, the majority of which are owner managed.

Mr Williams said: "I would like to personally thank all of the staff, past and present, who have supported the practice and helped to create a true team mentality. This shows in the way that they help and support each other in all of the work that we undertake in order to deliver the excellent level of service that our clients commend us on. This was a significant factor in us winning the national large accountancy practice of the year award in 2016... And here’s to the next 80 years!"
