Domino's has revealed the opening date of its new store which will bring 25 jobs to Cleethorpes.

The pizza giant, which has around 800 outlets across the country, will begin dishing out its takeaway treats at its latest store in St Peter's Avenue on Monday, June 5.

In January, North East Lincolnshire Council gave Domino's the go-ahead to open in the shell of the former Johnson Cleaners store.

Renowned nationally for its delicious selection of pizzas and array of sides available for delivery to your doorstep, this new two-storey Domino's will also include the option to eat in and will be capable of catering for up to 35 customers.

Announcing the opening date, Lucy Major, spokesperson for Domino's, said: "We are thrilled to be opening our doors to the people of Cleethorpes, and we're looking forward to bringing fresh, quality pizza to local pizza fans.

"The opening has served up 25 new jobs for pizza-passionate locals, and our full team is now on-board, ready to serve our range of pizza, freshly handmade using the finest quality ingredients, when the store opens on St Peters Avenue on June 5."

Domino's currently has stores in Laceby Road and Victoria Street North. The new Cleethorpes outlet comes just a few months after rival chain Papa John's opened a store at the corner of Grimsby Road and Manchester Street.
