Lincolnshire-based estate agent Pygott & Crone has become a member of Land & New Homes Network, a national platform that brings together agents and housebuilders to increase building opportunities across the country – directly addressing the housing crisis.

Created by industry specialists Kevin Ellis and Ian Stratford, it improves connections to local and national housebuilders, unlimited access to an online hub full of relevant training materials and content, and much more.

Tim Downing, director at Pygott & Crone, which has branches in Grimsby and Cleethorpes, said: “We are really excited about being a member of Land & New Homes Network. This partnership will not only be beneficial for Pygott & Crone but for Lincolnshire as a whole as it will help organisations in the county join forces with national businesses, boosting the economy in the region.

“We are keen to achieve more success with the help of Land & New Homes Network due to the unique services they provide. Additionally, we are keen to boost Lincolnshire’s presence in the industry and are passionate in showcasing its potential to a national market.”

Being a member of Land & New Homes Network will provide Pygott & Crone with an exclusive tailored package and will be instrumental in creating new opportunities for the estate agent.

Mr Downing joined other Land & New Homes Network members Matt Nicol of Nicol & Co and Will Smith of Complete to network at MIPIM 2018 – the world’s largest property expo, held in Cannes - where the platform was launched to the rest of the world.

“We’ve been attending MIPIM for more than 20 years,” added Mr Downing. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase development opportunities, promote the region as the ideal location to invest and work in and create some really significant deals which will go a long way in achieving the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership's goal of creating 100,000 homes in Lincolnshire by 2020.

“The Land & New Homes Network complements the work we do while in Cannes and I look forward to working closely with the team to achieve some really transformative deals for Lincolnshire.”

Kevin Ellis, founder of Land & New Homes Network said: “Pygott & Crone is a leading estate agent in Lincolnshire and we are thrilled to have the team on board. It was my first trip to MIPIM this year and it was great to have Tim attend the event, helping to present Land & New Homes Network to the right contacts.

“We’ve made some really great connections from MIPIM as there were huge players in the industry attending the event.

“I look forward to continuing to work with Tim and the Pygott & Crone team.”

As reported, MIPIM also saw the food enterprise zones highlighted by the county delegation, including the huge potential offered by the further development of Grimsby’s Europarc.
