The directors of a successful carpet business in Grimsby have reiterated their desire to keep the firm in the East Marsh, despite its rapid growth.
Grimsby Carpet Warehouse, situated on Freeman Street, has mushroomed in size since the company was first established in 1945.
Led by brothers, Ben, Andre, Myles and Harvey Shaw, the company has gone from strength to strength, with online business Carpet Runners UK, enjoying months of consecutive growth, having now expanded internationally.
But despite the thriving success the family business continues to enjoy, managing director Myles said the company has no intention of leaving its East Marsh home.
"We are Freeman Street until the day we die," Myles said.
"We are known for being a Freeman Street business and we are proud of where we come from. We try our best to champion the street. We love the area."

Despite its questionable reputation, Freeman Street is still home to many popular independent stores, as well as the Freeman Street Market.
And Myles said he and his brothers have always been determined to push against the negative portrayals the town's East Marsh is of painted with.
"We have that entrepreneurial spirit and we work hard," he said.
"When you are from Grimsby you have that defiant attitude. It's been called one of the worst places to live and the road into Grimsby along the A180 is sometimes described as being 'the road to nowhere.'
"You either stick with that and accept it or you rebel against it and push out of it.
"That's the difference. We have a desire to succeed."

Grimsby Carpet Warehouse, which first launched with a small shop further along Freeman Street more than 70 years ago, currently has 15 full-time employees and four directors and shareholders.
The online business, Carpet Runners UK, which was created by Myles, in his downtime hit the £1 million turnover mark last year.
Launched with his father Ivor, the team behind Grimsby’s Carpet Warehouse is a truly family affair, with brothers uniting to work in the business. Due to the success of Carpet Runners UK, Myles was able to take over the retail element too, trebling turnover since the move and equalling the online business’s performance.
And Myles explained how the family have no plans to slow down any time soon.
"We feel part of the town and we try to give something back to the community by supporting local businesses. We like we're more than just a carpet shop," Myles added.
