Hessle firm’s success is in the jeans

A Hessle company has been revealed as the manufacturers of lasers used to create fading and tearing on Levi jeans.

BBC news recently featured an article on the innovative product, which can finish a pair of jeans in just 90 seconds.

Hessle’s Rofin-Sinar has now announced it has been supporting the denim industry for more than 15 years.

Dr Ken Lipton, managing director of Rofin-Sinar UK Ltd, pictured, said: “Our innovative lasers have been used worldwide for more than 20 years in applications as varied as the cutting of metals, plastics, glass, textiles and wood to label marking.”
