Hull 4 Heroes - A City United!

By Cobus Communications | Posted: 16 Feb 2018

It has been an exciting few weeks for our charity of the year Hull4Heroes and this busy period looks set to continue as we lead up to the eagerly anticipated Rugby 4 Heroes game on Sunday 4th March. This ‘one off’ game of rugby will unite both sets and fans of the rival Hull Rugby League Clubs. The match will be played at Hull KR’s ground ‘The KCOM Craven Park Stadium’ and it will include past players from Hull FC and Hull KR joining forces to take on a Rugby Union side captained by Mike Tindall. The game will be two very different halves, with both Rugby Union and Rugby League rules. All funds raised will be distributed between the two Veterans charities Hull4Heroes and Rugby for Heroes both championed by one of Hull4Heroes ambassadors, Nick Knowles.

As a prelude to the game Hull4Heroes will be hosting a ‘Rugby Ball’ at Willerby Manor Hotel Hull on the Saturday 3rd March 2018, the team will be joined on the evening by Mr Nick Knowles of DIY SOS, Rugby and TV celebrities, there will be live music and we are sure the night will be great fun whilst supporting a great cause.

As a community we are all connected in some way to the armed forces, whether this be a son or daughter, brother or sister, aunt or uncle, parent, grandparent or neighbour. Hull 4 Heroes has a great team of local and dedicated volunteers along with a passionate project team of professionals who are excited about creating a legacy that Hull4Heroes and the people of Hull and the region can be proud of.

We would love to share the day or evening with you so lets us show ‘A City United’ for its Veterans!
