It will also host a New Year’s Eve black-tie ball later this month.

Although, the hotel's guest rooms are not expected to be available to book until 2018.

The festive events will be held in the hotel’s stunning ballroom space which has its own entrance and bar.

On the menu for the festive party nights is everything from brandy-infused pate to traditional turkey with duck fat roasted potatoes and rich plum pudding to indulgent strawberry and vanilla cheesecake.

There will also be live entertainment with prices starting at £34 per person.
