Here at IT@Spectrum we believe that the foundation of our success is based on our people, and we strive to recruit and retain the best in the industry. Our staff know what they are required to do and are passionate about doing their job to the best of their ability for our customers.
Our people are our greatest asset and that’s why we have launched the Spectrum Faculty, an in-house learning and development programme, where all staff benefit from an extensive training programme focusing on the enhancement of core skills and job specific ability. We offer an excellent career path, fantastic training, within a hardworking and fun environment, where success is celebrated and rewarded.
THIS ETHOS HAS HELPED US SECURE THE INVESTOR IN PEOPLE ACCREDITATION EVERY THREE YEARS SINCE OUR FIRST ACCREDITATION IN 1996 AND ON ALL SUBSEQUENT REASSESSMENTS.
This accreditation has partially been achieved through our internal Spectrum Faculty programme, which focuses on the personal and professional development of younger staff members. This is taught by members of our senior staff who also gain valuable skills during the coaching process.
More recently, our Senior Service Technician Steve Watson has extended the mentoring skills he has acquired, from IT@Spectrum, to Driffield School and Sixth Form College. Steve will be mentoring a pupil during their transition from school to the workplace starting in September, guiding them through everything from CV building to answering any queries.
