Multi-billion US firm is moving into Hull and creating up to 100 jobs

By Hull Daily Mail | Posted: 23 Jan 2018

Dozens of new jobs are to be created in Hull as an American corporation buys a huge office space in the city centre.

Property specialist PPH Commercial has let the space at Anchor House in Silvester Street, just off Bond Street, to the firm which says it will recruit between 80 and 100 new employees in the coming months.

The identity of the firm involved remains a mystery at present but is understood to be a multi-billion pound professional services group which already has an office in the north of England.

Anchor House, which is based at The Maltings, has just undergone a 12 month refurbishment job.

PPH director Nick Pearce, who oversaw the move, said: "It is always great news to secure such a big letting, particularly in the city centre, but even more pleasing when it is a pure new inward investor who will be creating jobs in the city at a professional level."
