Mum sets up recruitment business from home to inspire her family

A single mum-of-two has set up her own business to make her two sons feel proud of her.

Tracey Cryer runs her education recruitment business, called Teach-Lincs, from her home in Bottesford.

She decided to branch out on her own earlier this year after working in education recruitment for the past 18 years.

Tracey said of her venture: "Our company ethos is working together to make difference and we feel we do that.

"We not only support schools with their recruitment needs for teaching and non-teaching staff but also with their additional services offered to children with special educational needs and disabilities."

Tracey said she had lots of reasons to set up her own business, but her main reason was to show her children that you can achieve anything you want when you put your mind to it.

She also said she wanted to make them feel proud of their mother.

She said: "I have worked full-time for the whole of my adult life and my boys appreciate the things they enjoy in life through hard work.

"I wanted to build a legacy for them and give them options in their future for joining the business if they wanted or inspiring them to work hard and achieve as much as they can."
