A NORTH Lincolnshire firm which has won worldwide recognition for its work in protecting horses is seeking planning approval to expand the business.
Currently, Premier Equine based on East Marsh Road, Goxhill, employs 21 staff.
Premier products are used in equestrian world for leg protection, air cooling, tendon protection, injury prevention and magnet therapy, as part of a wider offer.
Owner Clive Davis has told planners at North Lincolnshire Council the firm's mission is to make life better for horses and their product were used in the 2012 London Olympics.
Now, the company wants to build a warehouse extension and create another five full-time jobs.
The planners have been told staff turnover at Premier Equine is "incredibly low" due to job satisfaction and general good treatment.
