An open invitation to "come and see us" has resulted in hundreds of people visiting the new headquarters of IT@Spectrum and The One Point.
The partner companies moved to Hessle's Bridgehead Business Park in January and urged customers, contacts and friends to visit them, make use of their facilities and find out about how emerging technology could be used to grow their businesses.
Their new £2.75m offices, branded The View, have since welcomed more than 500 people, prompting the partner firms to develop a calendar of meetings, training sessions, networking opportunities and events.
Ken Sturdy, managing director of IT@Spectrum, said: "We're showing the latest technology in action and we're practising what we preach.
"It's been a revolving door – every day people are coming in to visit us and make use of the facilities in a variety of ways.
"We always say this place is open to our customers, potential customers, suppliers and friends – and that's a lot of people. Our messages is 'come and see – you're very welcome and you might well learn something'."
The venue has since hosted meetings by the Humber LEP, For Entrepreneurs Only (FEO) the Bondholders, among others, as well as holding a training day for careers advisors.
Martin Lauer, managing director of The One Point, said: "We've been delighted with the response to our invitation to pay us a visit, find out what we do and how we do it, and make use of the facilities here.
"We've now developed that engagement into an extensive calendar of one-off, monthly and quarterly events. The View has effectively become a business destination, with some of the region's most influential organisations making use of our offices.
"The feedback has been really positive. So many people want to come and look around, see what we're doing and use the space and the technology we have here.
"One of the best things is that they get to meet our teams. They get to see we have happy, highly professional and capable people, proud of what they do and there is no veil of secrecy. They can go and sit with the people in finance and with our support and sales teams.
"They don't just get shepherded into the boardroom – they have an access-all-areas pass."
The events calendar features quarterly "Tech Talks" focused on helping businesses to utilise technology to drive growth – the first of which will take place on June 7, during Humber Business Week. Visit www.humberbusinessweek.co.uk for details.
