Pace Communications welcome trio of new recruits

Creative communications agency Pace has recruited a new creative director and two new account handlers after successfully securing a number of new client wins.

These include a national remit for an FMCG firm, a leading construction company and a workplace interiors specialist.

As a result of this continued growth, the Pace team has now expanded to 17, making the company Hull’s fastest growing agency, having been launched two and half years ago by former KCOM director, Anita Pace.

New creative director Steve Artymiuk has 20 years’ experience in design agencies in Hull and joins the Pace team from Strawberry.

He has worked with clients in sport, including Hull City, Hull FC and Hull KR, in culture, including Hull New Theatre and Hull Museums, and in business, including Beal Homes, BP and Smith & Nephew.

Tori Cawkwell has joined Pace as an account manager and has experience working both client and agency side. Most recently, she spent 18-months working as UK Brand Manager for international FMCG food brand, Maldon Sea Salt.

Tori is joined by new account executive, University of Manchester graduate Beckie Rackham. Beckie worked at Manchester PR agency We Are Indigo while studying and joined StrawberryToo, sister agency to Strawberry, after graduating.

Pace has also been shortlisted in the prestigious Prolific North Awards 2018. The company will now compete against six other finalists in the integrated agency category (for agencies with up to 29 employees).

The winner will be announced at an awards dinner in Manchester on 24th May.

Anita said: “The first three months of the year have already been very exciting which points to 2018 being another successful year for our growing company.

“It’s great to welcome Steve, Tori and Beckie at such a busy time and I am very proud that we have been shortlisted for this award against a very competitive field of agencies across the north of England.

“We pride ourselves on doing the best we possibly can for our clients and that has helped us stand-out to the judges.”

Pace has also launched a new website - pacecomms.co.uk -  to reflect the changes at the business and showcase examples of client work.
