LIFE is almost imitating the art of Cleethorpes jeweller Daniella Draper, who has not only opened her latest shop in the Lake District, but got engaged in the picturesque national park, too.
And the proposal came just weeks after the release of a promotional video she directed with her sister, in which a man presented a woman with a ring as a gift.
Stars of the shoot late last year were old school friends, as is beau David, and the increasing time spent in the north west has helped pave the way for the boutique to open, in what has been a phenomenal few months.
"It is all very exciting still," said Daniella, who revealed her partner popped the question at a viewing point they regularly walk to near his family home.

Ensuring other romantic couples are covered is part of the story surrounding Sunday's launch in Bowness-on-Windermere, as reported.
"It has gone really well, it is our fourth store and we feel it is getting a little easier now," she said. "We are more prepared, we know what to expect each time."
Mother and business partner, Della, is also delighted with the latest venture. "It went really, really well," she said. "The shop looks lovely, we have had a great reception from the locals and tourists alike, everyone is loving it."
The promotional brand PR ahead of the opening underlined Daniella's schooling in the Lake District, but it has emerged there is more to the attraction than her first creative steps.
Della said: "Daniella went to Windermere St Anne's for sixth form, and Holly (younger sister and the face of the brand) went from the age of 14, they were there at the same time.
"It was there where she loved the art block and the inspiration of being there, it was where she started developing her artistic skills.
"Now she has got engaged to be married, her fiance is from Windermere, and she has just got a house there."

David has subsequently told how he was preparing to propose at Christmas, but a ring he had commissioned – not from Daniella – wasn't quite ready.
Back to business, and the family are delighted with the way consumers have taken to the brand.
"People really appreciate it," the former Hobo boutique owner said. "After Brexit, with it being a British, traditional family business, people really seem to embrace it, and it is working well for us."
Bowness joins Cleethorpes, Lincoln and Beverley – all supplied from a Grimsby workshop – and the geographic expansion will continue, with 25 people now employed.
"We are always on the look out for new properties," said Della. "We keep an open mind, it just happens naturally when the right shop in the right place comes up. It is very important that it is a great location, and that was the case with Bowness, it was just the right size."
Several pairs of eyes were on the town, with the house search and video, shot by Grimsby film-maker Leo Baron, also underway.
"We were all keeping an eye open," Della said. "We were visiting Daniella, spending the weekend there, and we saw it had come up. It had been taken by someone else, but they pulled out at the last minute and we struck while the iron was hot as she is spending more time over there."
