Seafood giant Young's reinvigorates heartland range to create 'best yet'

GRIMSBY'S Young's Seafood has revealed a re-invigoration of one of its heartland categories, with the launch of a new ‘Simply Breaded’ range.
The leading seafood company in the UK said the improved product range is their tastiest yet, as voted by consumers, and is made with 100 per cent responsibly sourced fish, wrapped in crisp breadcrumbs with no artificial ingredients.
Yvonne Adam, marketing director at Young’s Seafood Ltd, said: “Sometimes the simplest things are the best. We’ve listened to what our consumers want; succulent fish wrapped in crispy golden breadcrumbs with nothing artificial, and this has helped us to create our tastiest recipe yet."
With a brand new pack design - still carrying the iconic masterbrand with the town's Dock Tower - that gives the range a stronger personality and presence in store, the fillets also have a crispier breadcrumb and an improved shape. In a blind taste test, the new recipe was preferred by a panel of 200 consumers, making it their tastiest ever recipe.
The ‘Simply Breaded’ range will appear in stores from August as:
- Four Large Breaded Cod / Haddock Fillets - 480g, £4 RSP
- Four Breaded Fish Fillets - 400g, £3 RSP
- Two Breaded Fish Fillets - 200g, £1.50 RSP
- XL Breaded Cod Fillets - 320g, £3.50 RSP
