Fashion retailer Peacocks opened the doors of its newest branch on Victoria Retail Park in Grimsby yesterday morning.
The purse-friendly fashion store has moved into the former Brantano unit, and is the third branch in the area with existing stores in St Peter’s Avenue, Cleethorpes, and Eastgate, Louth.
The chain, owned by the Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group, employs more than 6,000 people.
There are currently 388 Peacocks stores in the UK and more than 200 in 12 overseas countries.
Shoppers were eager to check out the newest branch, which has sizable women's, men's and kids' sections.
It is not the only new branch of a national chain to open in the area before Christmas with Starbucks set to return to Freshney Place in December.
