RESORT retailer turned national e-tailor Tilletts Clothing has added another major accolade to its blossoming collection, wowing once again at the Business Excellence Forum and Awards in Liverpool.
The “One Size” women’s boutique saw off strong competition from businesses across Europe, securing first place as Best Retailer, following a win last year for Best Marketing Campaign.
This year saw them also achieve finalist positions in Best Overall Company and Biggest Growth in the ActionCoach event.

Brigg-based mentor John McHale, presented the award to the team, and delighted in telling the room of how proud he was of the mother and daughters operation.
“After winning Best Marketing Campaign last year, Melanie asked me in our first session after the awards what they could do to come back and win again next year and here they are back again, this time with Best Retailer,” he said.
Tilletts delights in using ‘real’ models in local settings to market the clothes it selects to sell online and in the shops in Sea View Street, Cleethorpes, and New Market Hall, Louth
Established in 2011, the Business Excellence Forum and Awards were created to recognise the “best of the best” in the business world. The BEF conference is comprised of a two-day event filled with workshops and key speakers designed to help teach strategies to improve and grow your business. Kenny Dalglish and Karren Brady were headline attractions.
Mrs Tillett, founding director, said: “I am hugely proud of the girls and the team, we thank them all the time, but I want to thank them again for all their hard work and support.”
Tilletts, launched in 2006, comprises two retail stores – in Sea View Street, Cleethorpes, and New Market Hall, Louth – and an e-commerce operation run from the recently launched Wilton Road Industrial Estate base, where a new build unit has been transformed to serve fast fashion needs, building on a strong Facebook following and the “live” clothes shows.
