The One Point celebrates apprentice success

By The One Point Limited | Posted: 28 Feb 2017

We are celebrating the success of our apprenticeship program at The One Point after several recent achievements made by the young people that have taken part in apprenticeship roles at The One Point.

Together with our training partner Baltic, The One Point continues to work with young people to develop skills vital for today’s  workforce.  Apprentices have an opportunity to work in a real world setting while studying towards a qualification. This could even develop into a full-time permanent position as a member of The One Point team.

This progression recently happened for former apprentice Jack Batty after recently joined the team after completing his  BTEC Software Development level 3 alongside a successful apprenticeship. Jack was awarded an array of distinctions for modules completed as part of this program.

Jack is now making a very valuable contribution to our digital department mobile app development services.

As well as this our apprentice IT support apprentice Lewis Cook is also progressing well in his apprenticeship and has just been awarded the highest possible grade in the module Managing Windows 10. This will count towards Microsoft certification.

Lewis is currently a member of our helpdesk team where he gets an opportunity to work directly with our customers gaining experience solving real IT problems.

We are really proud of the hard work and commitment shown by both Jack and Lewis and highly value the contributions they have made.
