A town centre branch of popular bakery Greggs will close its doors this month.

A sign has gone up in the window of the Wrawby Street store saying it will shut on Saturday, November 25.

Details posted in the window also say the shop is operating reduced hours.

Greggs confirmed the store is closing down due to the lease expiring.

The branch in Brigg is visited by a good many youngsters on their way to local schools.

The town centre used to have a Bakers Oven shop/cafe. This British bakery chain was acquired by Greggs in 1994 and in 2008, the shops were renamed as Greggs.
